Off of the top of my head and in no particular order:

Purple Rain- Prince
Alanis Morrisette- Jagged Little Pill
Meant to be Mint (their first album)- Mint Condition
1999- Prince
Velvet Rope- Janet Jackson
Ten- Pearl Jam
Love Zone- Billy Ocean
Sade- Stronger Than Pride
Songs in the Key of Life- Stevie Wonder
Skeletons- Stevie Wonder
Off the Wall - Michael Jackson
I am convinced Beyonce's career would not be where it is, if she had dark skin.

Tracy Chapman :: Tracy Chapman (1988)

You beat me to it. I was going to add that album. It's beautifully performed all the way through.

I'd like to add the following:

Fiona Apple--Tidal
Tori Amos--Little Earthquakes
Sinead O'Connor--I Do Not Want What I Haven't Got
Counting Crows--August and Everything After
Norah Jones--Come Away With Me
Radiohead--The Bends

This is just off the top of my head.

biggrin
Music makes me happy.

I can take Yellow Submarine - I think it's goofy, harmless fun, and it was nice the way they'd throw Ringo a bone occasionally.

I Want To Tell You is the one that rankles with me.
