What do you think of it? Really good, most of the songs are New Orleans cover type songs, the originals are very Funky, its def a Party/funk record with a touch of big band. The band he has is top notch. He released an instrumental cd that same day with Branford Marsalis, i havent heard it yet but its supposed to be great too. A Patrice Rushen Greatest Hits CD for only $5.99. The one I was looking for was called "The Essentials" but I can't find it anymore. Anyway, a friend of mine has it and he is going to make me a copy. Andy is a four letter word.

Yoko is so easy listening! the remixes on her album that i was looking forward to most are the ones that are weakest (peaches, le tigre) - the ones by folks i don't know are the best ones! it's a really good remix album, whatever you think of yoko.

I wish I liked Yoko, cuz I like almost all those remixers. it just might convert you. it and the album it remixes, 'rising', are killer pieces of music. i have little patience for her '70s stuff, but the work she did in the '90s with sean is really nice.
