Well i actually too really liked the album, most of it, some of it, the more produced RB stuff needed to not happen, but the label wants to try to push her in all markets, but to me she shines on ballads, the song "Ordinary World" is the type of song Mariah needs to do, ironically this song is with Walter, Mariahs early hit partner. To me she is the strongest "vocal" talent to come off that show yet. The album was a surprise to me, its the only Idol winner that i have actually purchased, because she seemed like an interesting vocalist to me, took me back to Mariah 1989-90, when i got a tape of her with no-picture, just a name and 4 tracks, blew me away obviously.
