"Too Shy" was built on the bass work, for sure.

I knew you were hiding a secret somewhere.
And loving Kajagoogoo is nothing to be ashamed of. They were pretty funky too. NEW WAVE FOREVER: SLAVE TO THE WAVE FROM THE CRADLE TO THE GRAVE.

Don't be shame, dawg! I dig them too. I STILL bump "Too Shy" in my ride. I have their album. That shit was bangin' when it first hit. U know, John Taylor from Duran produced this. Kinda obvious by their image. SynthiaRose said "I'm in love with blackguitaristz. Especially when he talks about Hendrix."

I know!! Their second album, Islands is much better than the first, IMO! They were trying to be taken seriously at that point, going towards a kind of Duran - meets - Level 42 kind of thing, but the kids had already moved on by then..... ... One of the best synth-driven tracks ever, IMO. Hell yeah (to all of you in THIS thread), I said it. Kajagoogoo should have been better than a one-hit wonder band.
