At the moment I love Lloyd feat. Lil Wayne's "You" and of course Snoop and Akon's "I Wanna Fuck You"
Not a real big fan of hip hop at the moment I still listen to the stuff from the 80's and the best decade of hip hop the 90's.

For slightly ecceltic hip-hop, I'm digging K-os and Gym Class Heros right now If you will, so will I

well give it up then, what's some old schitt in rotation the past week? Do you mean give up on hip hop? If yes, then I can't entirely. I do keep an ear out for there are some pleasant surprises every now and then.

I'm in love with "No Friend of Mine" by Michael Jackson, Pras and Tempamental! It's original, it's different, it's Michael.

Never heard of this song. Who's and what album is this from?

It's not on anyone's album yet. But Michael I think Michael's the only one out of the three that has a new album coming up. However, I think it'll just be released as a promo-track (kind of a warm-up) for MJ's new album. It's not officially released yet. It's just floating around the net at the moment. Take a listen to it if you want. Go to www.thesource.com, click to enter, click on audio (under source media), and find "No Friend of Mine" in the list (you may have to click on 'next 15' a few times. Failing that, you can watch the youtube video - http://www.youtube.com/wa...CDHl_UY9HI . It's not the real version with Pras and Tempamental. It's a fanmade edit that cuts out their parts and leave just Michael's vocals.
It's a decent song. A lot of people will say it's crap because they'll compare to his previous works. So I will just warn anyone who goes to that website to give it a listen. It is different to his previous stuff. It's not soul/pop like his previous stuff, it's hip-hop and the song is shared pretty much evenly between Michael, Pras and Tempamental, so it's just just as much rapping as singing. So because of that a lot of people wont like it. But I think it's different to most hip hop out there today. Pras and Tempamental both have good flows, and Michael's vocals are so incredible. He hasn't sung like that in years (like since Off the Wall!) [Edited 2/14/07 6:12am]
