See i like how Perez calls celebrities for what they are. There is a place for people like him in our celebrity obsessed culture to ensure that these celebs don't get ideas above their station. Thats said, if he's just outing someone for the sake of it, that aint so nice. Id only advocate that if someone was categorically denying they were gay, or making derogatory comments about gay people when they were in fact indulging in a little man on man / girl on girl action themselves.

Hypocracy is rife amongst our beloved celebs and they should be called on it whenever possible.

They already did sort of. I guess years ago, he posted a profile and nude pics of himself on some gay dating site. They dug it up on gaypornblog.com and posted them. He didn't really seem to respond to it on his own site though.

I enjoy reading his site, but I do get pissed when he acts like it's his job to drag people out of the closet.

I hate Perez Hilton and his disgusting site.mad I always thought Chasez was gay anyway and whether he is or not doesn't determine my interest in his music. Or lack of interest for that matter. Perez's life must have been so lame that he decided to get into the business of everybody else's.

i cant stand him. it's bad enough to make a career out of trashing people, but to try and become one of the people you are trasing while continuing to trash them? repellant.

Perhaps. I think Perez is trying to pull the wool off of the publics eyes in terms of how gay Hollywood/Celebrities are and how much drugs and debauchery they get into (with no repercussions). I think Perez knows who is gay, and keeps tabs on their "activities". Most likely if they are being open in public, he'll report on it. I think his take on outing celebs is that they should be out already.

Now in terms of JC being gay...probably. I don't think that shoe is going to drop anytime soon. JC knows he needs to keep it on the DL (well he should now).

I don't think that's true. I would say 50% of what he reports is not news or even gossip...more interjection. I would say of the news items...90% of those are true. He has broken some of the biggest stories first. Something has to be said for that.

I think his becomeing a celeb is a wierd side effect. I think he is enjoying the attention he is getting right now, and he should. I do hope that he realizes he has only 15 min himself and will eventually reel himself in. I do wish he'd stop with the fat and old jokes cuz he's no one to talk.

i find him extremely hypocritical, and hypercritical too.

i can't stand when they insult what a celebrity who is coming out of starbucks is wearing. they expect people to be tht fake celebrity round the clock, to sleep with make-up and hair people touching them up constantly, and putting on designer gowns to go grocery shopping.

i also hate that he lets paris hilton, who is the single most useless celebrity with no discernable talent, and the single most trashy celebrity around slide on all kinds of things he attacks other people for.

I heard that him and Paris are very good friends, thats why he never drags the dirt out on her. I can't wait untill the day that she pisses him off! LOL He will go off, and finally air out all that bitch's dirty laundry. That will be a very interesting day in cyberspace.

i also can not stand the outing he does of people.

i believe the ONLY time it is to right someone is if they are a public figure aggressively and actively working against gay rights and in the closet about their own gayness.

I slighlty disagree with this. More-so in that I don't believe in the big closet Hollywood automatically sets up for celebrities.

I think this whole thing creates the stigma that Hollywood is the only place it's not cool to be gay, when it is RAMPANT with gay people. I also don't see the big deal of anyone coming out. Has anyones career suffered lately?

Why do we as a society feel the need to think everyone in Hollywood is straight? If anything it propogates homophobia...especially with the celebrity who thinks they need to hide themselves and not be who they really are.

Here's a devil's advocte question to you. What if you found out that your workplace was mostly gay, but no one talked about it in public in fear of the company looking bad. Isn't it almost the same thing? Maybe that didn't come out right, but I think you know what I am getting at.

i see your point, but i dont think it is other peoples announcement to make. it traumatizes the person, and reflects badly. people have to be allowed to come out when they are ready.

but i do agree that it's frusterating as shit the way they all hide.

When there really is no reason to. I dunno, I see this as if Hollywood were to really come out...I mean REALLY come out. There would be a Sea Change in visability and perceptions we have of what gay is.

it's pointless and petty though, and only leads to a further marking of it less as an art and more of a business.

and they are still people. people being really hardcore mocked for no reason other than it makes the people writing and reading it feel better about themselves.

It all comes with the desire to be a celebrity, Perez isn't doing anything new, this gossip mongering has been around forever. This is part of the price people pay to be part of the celebrity world. And remember There's no such thing as bad publicity.

i'll somewhat agree, as that is the reason i have NO desire to ever be famous.but perez and the internet in general has taken it to a new low. perez makes the rags look downright civil by comparrison
