I was driving to work and I was actually listening to the radio for some oddball reason and the DJ started playing the remix of "Promise" by Ciara. Now, I don't really like Ciara (always thought she was a wannabe Aaliyah and not a good knock-off of her might I add), but I actually really like this song alot, so I was excited to hear what the remix was gonna sound like....yeah, no. First of all, why the hell is R. Kelly's ass on 90% of the damn song!?!?! It was like Ciara was singing backup on her own fuckin track. Ughh, I just can't stand R. Kelly. He's one of the only celebrities whose personal life has totally made me despise him, as an artist and a human being. I still sit down every now and then and hope that he has a daughter and someone disrespects her the way he disrespected those underage girls, so he can know what it feels like. As much as I don't like all these RnB songs with hip-pop verses added, I would have rathered that than R. Kelly on this song. God, I swear if I ever saw him, I would spit on him, because he disgusts me that much. Okay, rant over. I feel much better now.
