To each their own, naturally, but I can't fathom thinking that any Lucinda Williams album could deserve such a low rating. Even if one believes that this isn't a strong album (not I, of course, but hypothetically speaking), surely her abilities warrant a higher rating.

LOL lol Pitchfork makes me laugh. Lucinda could chew up and spit out that idiot. He needs to go find some twee indie band to rave about... in fact, I'm sure he will. cool

I probably went overenthusiastic on my review, BUT I definitely still think its her best thing since "Car Wheels" and that alone is an accomplishment in my opinion.

Actually I take that back. It wasn't overenthusiastic... i'm listening to it again and this shit ROCKS! Its good to know that great albums can still happen these days.
