The only thing I know from him is his work with Roy Ayres.
I remember hearing a real good song called "Water Get No Enemy" getting remade by D'Angelo, Macy Gray and I think the other dude is called Femi Kuti, so I'm assuming its his son.

I love Fela Kuti and his son Femi, I have tons of their stuff! Carpenters bend wood, fletchers bend arrows, wise men fashion themselves.

Fela did his own thing, even amonget the most traditional, yoruba, Moslem men they rarely have that many wives at one given time. And given that Fela came from a Christain background. Btw I know these things because I am of Yoruba origins but born in the UK. I also think that zombie is great it still my fav high-life song. some titbits about Fela; His mother was the first woman in Nigeria to drive a car. His brother Biyi Kuti is a Medical Dr and was the health Minister in the Nigerian Government, Fela had a PHD in Music and Femi Kuti mother was half native India(I am not quite sure whether the last titbit is just a rumour)
