Fine Young Cannibals The Raw And The Cooked What a great album The Fine Young Cannibals The Raw And The Cooked is. This is surely one of the finest albums of the 1980's.
She Drives me Crazy is one of the greatest singles also of that decade. Plus the other singes were great and almost every song could have been a single. Ther's an awful lot of styles cramed into this 35 minute masterpiece and each one superbly handled. It's hard for me to pick a favorite but I think I'd go for As Hard As It Is.

DID YOU KNOW IT WAS RECORDED AT A CERTAIN PAISLEY PARK STUDIOS IN MINNEAPOLIS? ? AND IT WAS THE NUMBER ONE ALBUM IN THE USA UNTIL A CERTAIN SOUNDTRACK ALBUM FROM BATMAN KNOCKED IT OFF ? ? And then the group broke up trying to make the follow-up. Roland Gift - blessed with an ethereal voice - wound up releasing all of one solo album (which stiffed), acted (badly) in a few films and disappeared. The other two had another hit as Two Men & A Drum Machine, then likewise joined the disparus. Time for a reunion? Everyone else seems to be doing it this year. There are three sides to every story. My side, your side, and the truth. And no one is lying. Memories shared serve each one differently

Am I correct in thinking that it was produced by David Z??? [Edited 2/15/07 14:33pm]
