I can't find any info anywhere about a new Badu cd yet I know she was recently shooting a video. Where did you get your info? There are very few cds being released this fall that I'm looking forward to so this would be good news. | |

okay, EXCELLENT news. what can we expect from india arie? is she doing an acoustic set again or more plugged? i haven't heard much from her first album, but what i heard sounded very acoustic and i believe her album was called 'acoustic soul', so..
and badu, is she ALREADY finished with her new album? unbelievable, somebody tell d'angelo! don't need no reefer, don't need cocaine

You can hear "Little Things" on www.indiaarie. I'm really excited to hear new music from her. She will be performing in S.F. on the 22nd at Golden Gate Park, so hopefully I will get to hear even more new gems. Hopefully the rush to record again won't lead to the "Sophomore Jinx". Acoustic Soul was the best cd of 2001 IMO. I haven't heard a single thing about Erykah being in the studio. "Funkyslsistah… you ain't funky at all, you just a little ol' prude"!

I got the Badu CD info from The Toronto Sun newspaper. It was the Sunday edition from 2 weekends ago. | |
