Do people even still do Dance music, the last song I can remember that sounded like a dance song was "crazy".

Yeah, I think it's far better than the first album (even though I have a soft spot for Disco Infiltrator!) As one door closes, another opens...

When I hear the term "dance music" I think of house music, of which I am a big fan. I'm always listening to new house songs or tracks. Monday night I checked out the great Frankie Knuckles here in Chicago and he was spinning nothing but great new "dance music" all night.
Someone who I am really feeling now is Barbara Tucker. I saw her live this past summer at another Frankie Knuckles event and she can turn a party out. http://www.barbaratucker.com/ http://www.myspace.com/mi...baratucker perfection is a fallacy of the imagination...

the 80's and 90's had the best dance music...
the 2000's you really can't dance... unless your shaking your butt...

Yeah, I think it's far better than the first album (even though I have a soft spot for Disco Infiltrator!) "Disco Infiltrator" is a great track and, yes, I can't get over "Yr City's A Sucker" from the last album. This album... so far is still warming up on me. I kinda like what's going on with "Somebody Great" and "Get Innocuous!" is decent.

larryluvlife said: Oh yes. "My Egyptian Lover" was a killer. That was one of the best out-and-out dance songs from last year. It's a shame I never got around to making a list of my fave dance tracks of '06. That track would definitely be on it.

Barbara released a great track that I used to hear a lot when I went out about 2 years ago called "Most Precious Love" by Blaze / U.D.A.U.F.L. I'm sure you probably heard it.

I'm hearing talk that they're only promotional for their North American tour, though. :-/ Hopefully, once this tour ends, they'll sell them online or something. ...@ a not too lofty price! I like Sneaky Sound System. Their latest single is "UFO" which can be heard @ their myspace. Van She recently did a remix for it that I'm trying to track down. Every single they've put out so far -- "Pictures" & "I Love It" -- I like.

[Edited 3/28/07 17:23pm] BTW, I found out @ the last minute there was a contest to win these shoes at http://www.diamondstour.com and I guess I didn't win because they said they were announcing winners April 1st. (Unless this is some cruel April Fools joke on the part of the promoters!)
