Just Bought This LP!

.

based on a number of reviews, and some of the band's previous work.

Sometimes I don´t understand your taste...you seem to have a HUGE knowledge of music, you listen to a lot of interesting stuff, and yet, every now and then you come up with the most unusual threads about some commercial, boring stuff... lol

That's a great purchase PH! One of the best pop albums of 2006! Shamefully it's flopping the uk album chart

As the orgs official senior pop music specialist,I gave this album 4 out of 5 stars.

"Scar" is an incredible tune!

Studio 1 is a big departure from Saints and Sinner, their best album and my personnal favorite.

Studio 1 is in the same vein of Lilly Allen faux Ska/Reggae sound

About Girls Aloud, they are a producer fabricated group (Xenomania)...I consider them an updated SAW-esque group. Just fun pop tunes with voidless content. Still very tasty...

Currently the best girl groups are Sugababes and All Saints. Both groups have a considerable input in their work (lyrics for example), and in the case of the Sugababes, they have some cred, even doing indy festivals...with a live band and no lip-synch.

The Funny part is that both groups where produced by the same person at a time, Cameron McVey.

i haven't digged deep into Sugababes' music 2 be honest but i did love a number of their work,,

Run 4 Cover. for one, is an incredible song, it's my fave from them i guess.

So is their take on Shape Of My Heart, and their debut single that Aguilera ripped later on (Overload i believe is it's title), and other few tracks from here and there.

As 4 All Saints, i agree with you on Studio 1, it's their most refined.

I'm glad they reunited 'cause the whole Shaznay/Melanie solo and the Appleton sisters duo was such a mess disbelief

Rock Steady is growing in me fastly (usually i tend to appreciate lead off singles after their buzz is over)
