its when you share your opinion about music you love and you're slammed or laughed at and they automatically think their an elitist of music...that's when you know you're in the presence of a music snob, m'dear...

I have always really enjoyed Zeppelin's music. I also like reading Plant's lyrics as I think that they were quite inventive and interesting.

One of people's biggest complaints about the band was their supposed overindulgence in their music and with their arrangements. There was a funny story that I had read about, where Zeppelin's manager Peter Grant was at a party and he walked up to Bob Dylan and introduced himself to him as Zeppelin's manager, to which Dylan replied to Grant, 'I don't come to you with my problems do I'? I thought that was a pretty amusing story.

I am a casual fan, just delving deeper into their album releases.

My favourite up til now is Physical Graffiti, of which I still have to look up the spelling for. It's got cuts like In My Time Of Dying and Kashmir, that I both love.

But lately I gravitate towards the older stuff.

Of all the dumb hard rock bands I stopped listening to after high school...this wasn't one of 'em.

I somehow never get sick of those songs. Houses of the Holy has especially withstood the test of time.

I ABSOLUTELY love their first six albums I, II, III, IV, Houses of the Holy (my personal favourite, I love that album, Rain Song is the most beautiful song ever written) and Physical Graffiti. Jimmy Page is the best guitarist of his generation (yeah, even better than Hendrix, it's my personal opinion) and Robert Plant has to be the ultimate hard-rock singer of all time.
