The funkiest bands: The Time, Isleys, Cameo, Gcs,etc. Once again I came up with this one. Even though I'm in the Prince forum with this topic it still has some relevance. What is your list of the funkiest bands of all time. 1 being the best. Here is my list:

Sly & The Family Stone Herbie Hancock(we he wanted to) Miles Davis (when he wanted to) Clinton/Parliament/Funkadelic/Bootsy (and their family of acts) Kool & The Gang Stevie Wonder The Meters Tower of Power Earth, Wind & Fire Booker T. & the MG's Dyke & The Blazers The Isley Brothers Charles Wright & the 103rd Street Rhythm Band Graham Central Station ...Followed by tons of imitators/emulators whose style origins can probably be traced back to one or more of the above. tA  Tribal Disorder
