The Dramatics were and and still is one of my favorite groups of all time! ighly underrated, should have been as popular and heralded as the Tempts, OJays, etc. Each brother added different varieties of harmony and flavor to music. Go Outside in the Rain, Just Shopping, What You See Is What You Get, Be My Girl, Be Who you are, etc. People should listen to the great harmonies and slick choreography this group provided. They put these so called hot young signing groups of today to shame! Their music is still stands the test of time! You have to be great if your music is still being played, appreciated and you are still selling out around the world 30 years later! I saw them at some soul revivals 2 and 3 years ago and they are still one of the greatest groups of all time! Lennytunia

Their 1972 hit "In The Rain" is one of my favs, but I also like "Hey You!Get Off My Mountain"(1973?) and their funky Disco hit "Shake It Well"(1977).I saw them in concert several years ago,and they put on a great show.
They're from Detroit,my hometown

Good Morning All, The Dramatics was a top notch soul group in the 70's. Lead singer Ron Banks didn't capture the zenith as alot of other r&b singers did during that time, but he is great. Has a lot of power and conviction in his vocals. What Cha See Is What Cha Get is a 70's soul classic. This album is well worth putting in your collection
