Darling Dear the best J5 song? I have come to believe that "Darling Dear" is the best J5 song ever. It was not release has a single but I still can't believe MJ was all of 12 yrs old when he recorded it.
http://www.youtube.com/wa...KWjHQpPmeo The song is 1:00 into a J5 cartoon. How I wish things didn't have to get so complicated with MJ

Didn't Foster Sylvers do the voice for MJ in the J5 cartoon?

Maybe, but that sure sounds like Michael singing.

The voices were by other actors but the songs were the J5. I just think the less well known songs like "Darling Dear" are not given enough props. I also like their version of "cherie Armour". Whatever cover they did they left their own mark.... The term "Bubble gum" didn't do them any justice at all. [Edited 2/5/07 4:37am]

I like this one a lot, but I think my fave is either Dancing Machine or The Love You Save.

I don't know all of the J5 catalog, I heard a song on the radio last week and wondered if anyone knows the title... the lyrics were something about eskimos in Mexico or something. What's the song about as the lyrics seemed rather strange

I also like "Find that girl" which I believe Jermaine sang. Infact many of their songs had nothing to do with "Bubblegum" and alot of their stuff was deep, deeper than some of the adult MJ more recent stuff. [Edited 2/6/07 12:14pm]

"The Love You Save" is it for me! "Never Can Say Goodbye," "Mama's Pearl," "Sugar Daddy," and their brilliant cover of "Stand!" are also favorites. I love the J5! "Whitney was purely and simply one of a kind." ~ Clive Davis

That would be "It's Great To Be Here" Great song and great performance by MJ.

That would be "It's Great To Be Here" Great song and great performance by MJ. The two official hip-hop J5 cuts are "Hum Along And Dance" and "It's Great To Be Here".
