Oh my god, what an insult to the man himself, to the Superbowl and really to America in general to have Billy Joel perform the Star Spangled Banner with an auto-tune effect on his voice! I think it's just a sad reflection on how artificially tweaked some things have become in the US these days! I only happened to notice this because I was watching my recording of Prince's wonderful halftime show and then thought I may as well rewind and see how Billy Joel fared... well, I was DISGUSTED!

Why didn't more people notice this? To me, it is just ridiculous that Janet Jackson bares a breast and conservative America throws a fit, while a man who can actually sing well is forced to have his vocals essentially SCREENED for tuning problems and in the process is made to sound totally OUT OF TUNE!

DISGRACEFUL!!
