They have that in Canada and since it's only a 10 minute drive away from me, I picked one up. It's even has the meatloaf colab. I love doing that one on "Cher-oke"

A new performance style is born! I agree... People don't know how influencial Deadringer for love was in it's time. It's one of the ultimate Boy Versus Girl (in the world series of love...Prince reference) tune

Yeah, good song Wasn`t there a remix of "We all sleep alone" on the "Believe" album? Yep...last track on the album...but it's a bit over remixed!

I prefer the original too. I`m not that crazy about her remixes. I`ve bought several maxi singles, but now they`re just gathering dust.

There was a collection released a few years before that set called "Essentail Collection" or something to that effect (not to be confused with those two disc collections by Sony titled Essentail Artist's Name Here). It had both those tracks, which is the reason I passed on that two disc set. "Bad Love" is the fucking bomb! RIght up there with Donna's "Hot Stuff" but very different. And as nice as "Rudy" is, "I Parylze" never get it's credit as a cool single and one of Cher's favorites....You should just buy the album if you don't have it.

Been a while since I heard that one. Is that the one where she "Hey, hey". I dig that. Now I'm in a CHer mood...I just pulled "Love Hurts" out. Not my favorite set but it has some killer among the filler. [Edited 2/9/07 20:00pm]

Anyone else know anything about that? I just went on IMDB and they say she wanted to play that role but it went to Anelica Houston. But I think Cher might have history of this sort of thing. IMDB also states and she turned down Thelma in "Thelma and Lousie". And get this..."A 2002 Rolling Stone article estimated her wealth at over 600 million dollars. Since then she has embarked on a hugely successful farewell tour that is still going and released a greatest hits CD that has spent weeks in the the Billboard Top 10." Holy shit! She doesn't even write most of those songs! I mean, is that possible if Madonna only's worth, what, less than half that? I know she's been around longer but still?

Did you get to see her during the farewell tour? I had bought the tickets and travelled a long way only to find out it was cancelled right before the show was about to start It would have been cool to see her in "The addams family" though, the character kinda looks like her, don`t you think? I don`t understand why she would turn down the part of Thelma It`s been so long since i`ve seen that movie, but was it Susan Sarandon who played Thelma?
