well i dont need an ipod i have a pocketpc( although a bit bigger)

it can play mp3s ( i even have the ipod skin so it totally looks like an ipod) the software is called ppod even with the rotary dial and everything

but it can also
*surf online
*send emails
*chat on yahoo aim msn
*i have the maps to my city( i can put whole us and canada maps if i had 1Gb space) can also attach gps
*can watch movies in much better screen then the cheapo ipod screen. I have a software which converts the movie to pda format so i can put a 1hr video into 120MB and its crystal clear so many ppl r amazed
*play numerous games
*have ms office (word excel)
*photo viewer
*even make phone calls even if i half way around the world
* too many other applications i am sure i have forget to mentions tons of things
but u can pretty much do pretty much anything that u can do with ur pc

but for like chat surf email phone calls i do need a wifi connection which is increasingly common

i dont have a big card but a 4gb SD card costs like 40$ and i am only using a 256mb card and still havings tons of things on there

its only 6oz and incredible makes the ipod look outta the stone ages

What exactly is the problem? The songs are on your computer but won't transfer to the iPod?

Never had a problem transferring to it. Neither have the dozen other people I know with one.
Give us more explanation and someone may be able to help...

The ipod should be easier to use than the zune. Apple is well known for their great design and ease of use. In fact I recently bought my sister one on the way to the airport and by the time we got there I had transferred a whole bunch of songs to it from my laptop so she was ready for her journey!
