Some people will think that I'm crazy
But I reall think Glitter was - is overlooked. It's a very, very good record, better than The Emancipation of Mimi (that's just me).

It seems like every time we have this topic, it's preceded by "non-Prince" as if there's any doubt that a Prince soundtrack would be at the top.

[Edited 1/24/07 5:30am] That was one of the songs that made me fall in love with them at the time. That movie sorta bugged me, but I that soundtrack; it takes me back to my senior year in high school when I hear it.

anyone who gives the Cabs their due is a-ok in my books. I've never heard that particular album, mind you. Reggae's never meant much to me. I tried in '88 or so - a friend convinced me that I'd never be cool if I didn't develop a taste for it, and I guess I didn't have a mind of my own back then. However, this album is pretty much undeniable, Rivers of Babylon and Johnny Too Bad in particular. I really love a lot of Ennio Morricone's scores. If I had to pick just one it would be the Mission:
