FAVORITE MOVIE EVER!!!!!
I just watched it again about 2 weeks ago. I actually cry every time at the end of the rain scene. Gene Kelly was incredible. "I saw a woman with major Hammer pants on the subway a few weeks ago and totally thought of you." - sextonseven

I haven`t seen it in a while, i usually see it when i need something to cheer me up. This movie does that.. Gene Kelly was great, although this is the only movie i`ve seen. I`ve wanted to see "Cover girl" for a while, have you seen it?

I love the Movie and the Song!!!! I'm a big Gene Kelly fan, anyway... but that's one of my favorite songs from a musical! ... [Edited 2/1/07 13:52pm] " I've got six things on my mind --you're no longer one of them." - Paddy McAloon, Prefab Sprout

I made Pascal watch it with me for the first time the last time I watched it. He stayed awake for the whole thing and afterward admitted that it really was a good movie. Even if it was a musical. Next project: West Side Story. "I saw a woman with major Hammer pants on the subway a few weeks ago and totally thought of you." - sextonseven

We'll have to do that soon. [Edited 2/2/07 6:41am] "I saw a woman with major Hammer pants on the subway a few weeks ago and totally thought of you." - sextonseven

It's great trash: abortion, incest, wayward teens, drug use, adultery, homersekshality...and that's just what I went through reading it. The movie's pretty illicit, but they had to tame it down.

Sounds great. I have to stick with my rule: I have to read the book before going ahead w/ anything else. Just like Valley of the Dolls. I can watch the movie now.
