falloff

I love Sade Adu so much, you could tell RIGHT OFF that she has tremendous pride, and sets her priorities str8 and doesn't degrade herself desparately for the sake of promotion and fame.

Her hiatus doesn't bother me for the simple fact that I've YET to hear a weak album from her. She has the PERFECT discography music

I wish I could get my hands on her b-sides though music Damn Black Knight, eversince he posted that thread about her non-released music, pretty much everything about it occupied my thoughts nod

She's pretty much perfect. The term 'goddess' is used too loosely these days, but she certainly is deserving of the title.

You got a link to that old thread?

I dont get her music. Its just lounge music you would of heard at 80's yuppie parties.

Maybe one day I'll get it, along with frank sinatra

I can see your complaint about her first 2 albums. The later 3, not at all.

Why? You'd probably already had her tied to a chair. She's not going to escape. confused

Well, to be fair, I only know her obvious few singles form her 80's stuff.

Pick up Love Deluxe and Lovers Rock. If you're disappointed, I'd be VERY surprised.

Her later work has such universal appeal though, that I can't imagine anyone could flat out hate it.

Beautiful portrait. I love Sade.

Sade was an integral part of me growing up. Like so many artists, she was just THERE.
When I grew up and my tastes in music started to take shape, my love for Sade never left. And they intensified with the release of Love DeLuxe.

To me, she is the same as W&L, I wish they would release MORE often, but like Harle said; it does not matter if it keeps her track record so divine.

Sade is one of those female artists that a strong woman (such as myself biggrin ) can admire with such tremendous respect.

not just because she is beautiful, it's the way she carries herself, each and every SINGLE time she releases an album or performs.

She doesn't give too much, but at the same time she doesn't give too little. she gives us just enough to keep hanging on to her as a loyal fan and admirer.

her music most of time gives me this calm and classy feeling, that sometimes, it's not about shaking your butt, or walking with a strut in 4 inch heels, you can be sexy with some light sweats on and a little tank top...lounging around the house. you don't even have to have a significant other, you can just chill.
I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

I think Sade is always flawless, but that picture's way too airbrushed for my taste. I like to see her freckles.

And the image below (taken by Albert Watson) is not safe for work:

What a natural beauty! I've seen some nudes of her that were gorgeous and classy. It's too bad that she is not more famous. Maybe she likes it that way.

dont encourage him. there aint nothing wrong with those first two albums. Frankie's First Affair, War of the Heart, Your Not The Man and many others are anything but yuppie lounge music.

thesexofit sure does love his cliches. in his music and in his generalities.
