LOS ANGELES (AP) - She may have missed out on an Oscar nomination, but Beyonce Knowles is the No. 1 fantasy girlfriend, according to AskMen.com's Top 99 Most Desirable Women of 2007.

The 25-year-old singer-actress tops the website's list ranking the "most alluring" female celebrities as determined by its readers and staff. Voters were asked to consider qualities beyond sex appeal and beauty, such as "intelligence, humour, charisma and ambition," according to the site. More than 8.5 million votes were cast, the website says.

Knowles, currently co-starring in "Dreamgirls," was followed by screen sirens Scarlett Johansson and Jessica Alba, supermodel Adriana Lima and actress Jessica Biel. Rounding out the top 10 were model Alessandra Ambrosio, singer Shakira, TV host Maria Menounos and actresses Angelina Jolie and Elisha Cuthbert.

Beyonce has not been married twice (including a marriage to the ultimate PWT, Billy Bob Thornton).

It's not that Beyoncé would be a slut that upsets the folks, it's the fact that she merely portrays a slut that's getting on their nerves. That's the worst see: You play the role of a cheap woman, offer your underlined sexuality for everybody's arousal, but everybody knows at the same time that there is no way you're not acting in a similar fashion in your personal life, and that you aren't attainable under any circumstances for the vast majority of the population.

Pornstars do not really piss off anybody these days, because at least they have to go all the way with their sexual image, and you can watch them do it if you desire to get the product in your hands. Pop sex-sirens are merely selling records on the acted out promise of sex, which they do not even intend to fulfill to any degree.

now for me, i don't really care for her music or her, but that doesn't mean that i wake up everyday wishing that i was "beyonce", i have a very high level of respect and esteem for myself. now if a person dedicates everyday to repeating to themselves "that Beyonce bitch gets on my nerves" then yeah, that would be a personal problem. but i think your personal opinion of someone doesn't have anything to do with how you feel about yourself, unless you are just hating on the person for no reason whatsoever.

I'm sorry, but if dancing and shaking your moneymaker is standard fare for being labeled "slutty," then virtually every recording artist is a slut. I haven't seen Beyonce do things even remotely on the scale of Prince, Madonna, etc. But between you and the idiot who is equating rolling on the floor as "slutty," you would have thought Beyonce's videos made Madonna's "Sex" book look like Vatican coffee table reading material.

Is Beyonce beautiful? I'd say yes.

Does she have a booty that makes most men drool? Hell yes!

Is she the woman that occupies most of my romantic and sexual fantasies? No.

I guess it's just a personal preference, but for some reason I don't feel anything one way or the other for Beyonce; her attractiveness doesn't do anything for me. It could just be a generational thing, though. I think Jessica Simpson is actually quite gorgeous and has a beautiful rack, but I wouldn't go out with her. In fact, there are a lot of younger artists who I think are really hot, but I don't think I could relate to them on a personal level if I had an opportunity to date them. The only artist who really made my heart skip a beat, gave me butterflies in my stomach and a boner in my pants is Mariah Carey. But then again, she is close to my age, and I spent my early adult years listening to her, so she is someone I think I could relate to at least agewise.
