I dig the mellow Kenny Loggins stuff:

Celebrate Me Home
Sweet Reunion
Leap Of Faith
This Is It
Heart To Heart
Love Will Follow
What a Fool Believes (with Michael Mcdonald)
Why Do People Lie
Enter My Dream
All I Ask
When She Believed In Me (with Benoit/Freeman)

That said, however, I can't stand that fake, stadium-rock stuff like Danger Zone disbelief

Me too! no shame in it - it's a quality song well played and sung.

I still like my old Jackson Browne records, Running on Empty and Late For the Sky in particular. I deserve to hide in a box for that.

Quick question: I assume we're talking about the type of songs you would find on an adult contemporary format?

If so, I'll nominate Kool & The Gang's "Too Hot"

[Edited 1/25/07 19:56pm]
THE TRAFFIC JAMMERS, The Org's house band: VAINANDY -- lead singer; NAJEE -- bass; THE AUDIENCE -- guitar; PHUNKDADDY -- rhythm guitar; ALEX de PARIS -- keyboards; Da PRETTYMAN -- keyboards; FUNKENSTEIN -- drums. HOLD ON TO YOUR DRAWERS!

How about these songs:

* Madonna "Borderline"

* George Michael "One More Try"

* Patti Austin "The Heat of Heat"

* Billy Ocean "Suddenly"

* Bobby Caldwell "What You Won't Do for Love"

You all are making me feel old. My faves are a bit *cough* dusty...

"Just the Way You Are" by Billy Joel

"Angela" by Bob James

"Rise" by Herb Alpert & the Tijuana Brass

"Feels So Good" by Chuck Mangione

"You Are the Sunshine of My Life" by Stevie Wonder

"Benny & the Jets" by Elton John

Spin those and a few others, and I'm a 5-year-old happily riding around in my dad's old cab, all over again.

Speaking of feeling old, that's the song that Luke "seduced" Laura to on General Hospital.
