1980s R&B Jam of the Day: Cameo "Flirt" The second release from their 1982 album "Alligator Woman" was, like most of the tracks, a departure from the then-established brass-heavy funk that made them famous. A quirky, synthesizer-drive groove with laid-back ensemble singing makes this one of my favorite songs from Larry Blackmon & crew. One of my fave albums by a great band, Cameo. This whole album is bangin'. The bass guitar on this track is killin' as well. SynthiaRose said "I'm in love with blackguitaristz. Especially when he talks about Hendrix."
