This song has so many layers of meaning. It probably reminded Re of all the loved ones she'd lost: mom, dad, Carolyn, Erma, Cecil...
BTW Ruben's rendition was done gracefully, but I don't think he fully did 'Angel' justice. The I got the feeling she was Thinking about Luther because that's who he reminded me off singing that song | |
