bad according to critics
or myself?

critics had a field day with the following:
Joni's The Hissing...
Monica's latest record
MiMi's Glitter
Ashanti's Concrete Rose
Cam'ron's Killa Season
Method Man's Tical 0:Prequel & 4:21... The Day After
that 1st Janet Jackson record & Damita Jo
Patrice Rushen's 1st for Elektra
Rufus' Numbers album (anybody know how well this did on the charts?)
Destiny's Child Survivor... gotta be
the worst record of their career (creative-wise)
but I love every minute of it
Brandy's Afrodisiac
Oukast's Idlewild... I don't hear too much talk about this one
but I can't get enough of "Hollywood Divorce" & "Makes No Sense At All"
The Mr. Brown album, Cee-lo's first album
702's Star album (LOVE IT!)
Paris Hilton's
Jay-Z's stuff post-Blueprint
50% Missy Elliot's shit
Foxy Brown's Chyna Doll (I think it sold well, but it's not your average Foxy fan favorite)
Lauryn Hill's Unplugged
T.I.'s Urban Legend
Aretha's Hey Now Hey & La Diva albums

off the top of my head

While I don't own this single, I think it would beat Jimmy Ray (and somebody bought the damn thing):

Of course, I'm not above getting this song by nefarious means so I can laugh at it some more. lol

i used to have this on mp3 redface

and i would totally LOVE to have the single/album!

i remember watching jordy perform on the world music awards, the year prince did 'most beautiful girl in the world'. while jordy was performing, the camera panned to prince in the audience, and he looked HORRIFIED. lol

I remember thinking; He wants 2 get out of there right now!!! lol
No wonder he didn't do a lot of Award shows the next couple of years.

I really hated that song!!and it was all over the radio...all the time

Holy Crap! Just as I was opening this thread I thought, "Well, I bought the Jimmy Ray album when I was 15..." and BAM! Here it is! Well, at least I know I wasn't the only person who bought it. I couldn't help it. I actually liked 2 of the songs, but that wasn't enough to justify buying this. I even have magazine clippings of this guy in some old scrap books. He was so hot, and I was so young and sexually frustrated! lol He also had a great accent, and he had short, brown girls in his videos. (which gave me hope of marrying him one day!)

Maybe the album "Six" was a terrible album, but Whodini was far from a terrible rap act.
THE TRAFFIC JAMMERS, The Org's house band: VAINANDY -- lead singer; NAJEE -- bass; THE AUDIENCE -- guitar; PHUNKDADDY -- rhythm guitar; ALEX de PARIS -- keyboards; Da PRETTYMAN -- keyboards; FUNKENSTEIN -- drums. HOLD ON TO YOUR DRAWERS!

I did pick up his album with "crush on you" a year or so back. But at the time, i hated him and always made fun of him. Unfortunately, one of my mates at the time looked just like aaron. The girls loved him but the older kids called him such witty names as "aaron" and would shout "hey aaron, ur a fucking knob". Good times.

Err... You're skewing that sentence in a completely different way.

The context of that sentence should be read as such:

"Terrible '80s group tries to come back *rugged* for the '9-0s type stuff."

See, I was a southern BASS + QUAD fan, so I actually liked the Original "Whoot! There It Is" performed first by 95 South. Kinda like how Tori Alamaze's "Dont Cha" was later ripped by the Pussycat Dolls and everybody ran with the latter version.

95 South even made a Tag Team diss track on their follow up album "One Mo' Gen."

Quad CITY DJ's used to be kinda HYPE with the track "C'mon Ride The Train." I remember that was BIG during one summer. Their album sucked, tho.

Do you remember a female girl bass duo named Dis N Dat? They were kinda like a southern Salt 'N' Pepa for the Bass/Booty collective. I used to play the hell out of their 1994 album "Bumpin'." It had the song "Party" feat. 69 Boyz. That was pretty cool.

No sorry. Odd time in my life around then. Moving from USA to UK. Its not surprising "boom boom boom" was big in the UK, as it has a very european feel.

1994 was all about Hammers new album "funky headhunter". Before youtube, when me and my mates would watch my music video collection, and it would get to Hammers original "pumps and a bump", they use to love it, as did i. Hey, we were 10/11 years old then LOL.

I still love the video. Add I still see people doing those moves he does at the end of the vid. Classic song.
