lol lol "heeeee did heeeee did" (C) Tweety Bird

from Dubcnn:

Perhaps the most listened to producer of 2006, Timbaland, is ready to claim 2007 as early as March. Already acknowledged as one of music’s most inventive and distinctive creators Timbaland plans to take that to a whole new level on his second solo album.

The new release "Shock Value" will be released on his Mosley Music Group label via Interscope on March 27. The first single, "Give It To Me," featuring Justin Timberlake and Nelly Furtado, is already making waves not only due to its musical brilliance but also cause of the apparent subject matter.

The single seems to feature all three of them going at respective foes - who...we'll allow you to decide - you can listen to the single below.

Timbaland - Give It To Me (Feat. Justin Timberlake & Nelly Furtado)

When asked about the album Timbaland explains "My mission is to blow up the boundaries and tear down the limits, I’m taking my music outside of the box. I’m not getting away from what I’m known for; I’m just going to a place where it’s all about the music, not about the labels on the music. That’s why I call it Shock Value - from the artists to the production, it will shock the system."

"Shock Value" is said to be sequenced like a movie according to Timbaland with a non-stop flow that tells a story. Off-the-wall beats, raps, hooks and his signature sound grace the soundscape with the album said to successfully fuse genres from rap and hip-hop to pop, punk pop and garage rock to South Asian influences. The album’s guest artists include Jay-Z and Snoop Dogg to Justin Timberlake and Nelly Furtado; from The Hives, She Wants Revenge and Fall Out Boy to Elton John (on piano) and newer artists such as Sri Lankan hip-hopper M.I.A. and Keri Hilson - who is signed, as is Nelly Furtado, to Timbaland’s Mosley Music Group.

Its funny reading his quotes about breaking down barriers, there are no boundaries at this point everyone sounds the same, Rock,Pop,Rb at least the mainstream stuff is all the same, overproduced and watered down. Obviously he is striking while the iron is still hot and riding his current "IN" wave, but there are already signs of people tiring of him and overexposure, PCD's "Wait a Minute" single featuring Timbaland was originally NOT going to be a single but was changed here in the US because of timbalands streak, well they re edited the song and made timbalands appearance almost a duet, the final result, their first single to miss the top 10 peaking at 34.

"We went where our music was appreciated, and that was everywhere but the USA, we knew we had fans, but there is only so much of the world you can play at once" Magne F

I finally heard this. I love it! dancing jig

Other than "SexyBack" (and that other matter...), Tim's really been on a roll lately. Aaliyah could never be replaced, but the one-two punch of Nelly and Justin is working for me.
