Living in a Box appreciation thread

The Org does not talk NEARLY enough about this fabulous late 80's group and their phenomenal impact on pop music. Anybody else as big a fan of this supergroup as I am?

And, no, they are not currently living in a box.

You try releasing an album and a single named after your band all at the same time and see how well you do. To give you a comparison, it would be like Prince including "My Name is Prince" on the album "Prince".

Three hit wonders in the UK, weren't they? The Right Said Fred of the 80s. One hit wonders in the US. Impact on pop music? Negligible. Impact on British society? Huge. Back in the late eighties and early nineties the homeless in London used to live in cardboard boxes under Waterloo Bridge. I hold Living In A Box responsible. The swine!

There are three sides to every story. My side, your side, and the truth. And no one is lying. Memories shared serve each one differently

From what I understand, the band is immortalized with two "best of" albums. One is called "The Best of Living in a Box" and the other is "The Very Best of Living in a Box". And damn if both don't contain their monumental hit "Living in a Box".

These are the signs that the universe is watched over by a loving God.

Mozart wasn't appreciated in his lifetime either.

Oh hell, even I'm losing interest in this thread.

I did like the song though.

I only know this song from it playing in the background in one of the scenes from "Can't Buy Me Love", and it's so bad it's actually funny.
'Cause your friends don't dance, and if they don't dance... well, they're no friends of mine.
