Her duet with Michael Henderson is the right cream on the coffee(in that compilation too nod).

You should hear her Minnie Riperton's version of "Completeness",,,FUNKY as you wanna get music

If I'm not mistaken, she did alot of background for Phyllis Hyman.

Only "Jean Carn" and "Happy to be with you", which this song is from.
Of those two, "Jean Carn" is my favorite, because of "Free love", "You got a problem" and "If you wanna go back", which i read was a huge clubfavorite in the UK.

You would love the "Jean Carn" album....

Cool, tell me what you think of Carne`s albums when you get to her.

btw, she released a cd called "Carne sings McCoy" after she left PIR, where she covered "The hustle", "Lean on me", "Walk softly" and more. Too bad the cd is out of print....

Hell yeah!! lol Last year,I bought every Ojays CD.Most of their albums were recently remastered and most of them are 2 albums on one disc, which I like.My only complaint is that my favorite Ojays album 'Family Reunion' is the only one that hasn't been remastered yet! mad Go figure...

Still,I'm enjoying my hunt for all the Gamble and Huff music lol

so you don't like those 2-for-1 sets, huh? lol I love 'em.The best part is the price. They are priced as if it was just one album ($14.99).

actually,a few of the late-80s CDs are sold as a 2-CD set.'Love Fever' (1985) and 'Let Me Touch You' (1987).Btw,the latter CD is the final album they recorded with producers Gamble and Huff.

Yeah I was trying to remember the title. I always confuse it with Michael's duet with Phyllis Hyman "We Both Need Each Other".
