She's Just A Groupie Hangin' Out At The Mall Got To Get Up On It Sexy Sassy Private Party Never heard those other songs.I only know of "She's Just A Groupie",which I love.He later produced songs for The Jets ("Rocket 2 U",which he originally offered to Earth Wind and Fire). You would instantly recognize them if you heard them again, especially "Hangin' Out At The Mall", which was a single and got a lot of airplay. In the background of the song, there are sounds of video games similar to The Dazz Band's "Joystick" which was out that same year also. In the middle of the song, he breaks it down and does some talking like he did in "She's Just A Groupie". He's in the arcade in the mall and one of his friends says...."Hey Bobby, your mother's coming". His mother comes in and talks with a Spanish accent and embarrases the hell out of him in front of his friends. She hollers...."Roberto, I see you over there Roberto! You better come here right now! I'm going to tell your father the minute that I find him! You better come here or I'm going to hit you with a belt!" Then she angrily starts saying some things in Spanish, then Bobby says...."Ouch, don't hit me Ma!". As for "Rocket 2 U" by The Jets in the late 1980s, I recognized Bobby Nunn's involvement the first time I heard the song. That song is similar to the other songs I listed which are sung in a very Princely sounding falsetto. Andy is a four letter word.

I have the album, and I know the people who made it! Sexual Harassment was the creation of Cleveland radio DJ / program director Lynn Tolliver, who went under the pseudonym of David Payton. The "group" consisted of Payton / Tolliver, drummer Dale Jackson (I lived two doors down from him at the time), And Lourdes Figueroa, who later became Lynn's wife. The album was recorded at Heat Recording Studios in Akron Ohio. Tolliver helped my band Spellbound get our record deal, and we used his E-MU Drumulator heard on Sexual Harassment's album. Sexual Harassment was scheduled to perform as Spellbound's opening act at the Chique Nightclub in Cleveland. My band was asked to do the music since Tolliver didn't want to perform, so Dale the drummer did lead vocals up front. We had to learn "I Need a Freak" and "K.I.S.S.I.N.G." I had to learn all the cool synth licks and sound effects. The performance was a sucess, we had a BLAST!
