Mark Morrison, Chuckii Booker is on the line. He wants the bassline for "Games" returned to him.

nod I hated this song when it was out for this reason (among others).

I eventually warmed up to it, but "Games" is still better. music

Someone on YouTube said on the cooments for the video, "Was 1997 really 10 years ago? Wow...what happened?" Those are my thoughts exactly. disbelief

I think 1997 doesn't seem as far away when you are reminiscin on a track that stayed in the clubs for years afterward. You know?

Damn it been ten years already? eek Besides that song, the song "No Diggity" was also played to death during that era.

A knock-off Shabba Ranks look- and sound-alike performing a song where he stole the groove to Chuckii Booker's "Games." No wonder he was a flash in the pan.

1997 was a great year for music. However, this song right here, it was good but they played the holy hell out of it! Whoever got royalties off that one song is living in the lap of luxury!

The past 10 years has flown by so fast. I remember when this song came out. I didnt like it the first few times I heard it. It sounded like something one could have heard on the radio in 1988. It did grow on me though. It had to be one of the most overplayed songs of '97.

This is a GREAT song, one of my favorite jams from the late 90s. The CD is absolutely horrible and it's very easy to tell that Mr. Morrison expended every solid ounce of artistic genius on this track. But what a track!

I just remembered another reason I hated this song:

It also bears more than a striking resemblance to the remix of "Are You Ready?" by Pebbles. You just know some DJ mixed those two songs in a club and Mark Morrison thought it sounded good... lol
