Anything by The Culture Club is great, but this song is brilliant...
I think Boy George had a really soulful voice back then.

Easily the best Culture Club song IMO. George was always a good singer, but he sounds absolutely fantastic on this one. I still can't believe it wasn't on the UK version of the album. "Whitney was purely and simply one of a kind." ~ Clive Davis

amazing song! I remember jamming to this as a baby and I recently downloaded it again for old times sake. It sounds like something that could have been on mj's off the wall or thriller, but between you and me, a little bit superior too in fact
remember the video? they were all dressed like choir women, playing instruments with the clock on them and that cake in the end. That video was oh so gay but oh so great at the same time!

The first version of the CD Kissing to Be Clever I got back in 1990 didn't even have this cut on it! Glad they put it on the re-mastered version. But my fave is still Do You Really Want To Hurt Me - killer vocal. Stand at the crossroads, and look, and ask for the ancient paths...(Jeremiah 6:16) www.ancientfaithradio.com

I love that video. My favorite parts are the human clock and George's cup saying "Boy" when everyone else's has their first name. "Whitney was purely and simply one of a kind." ~ Clive Davis

Love that song but "Miss Me Blind" is my favorite by them.

So happy to know so many others see how great this song is. I agree about the soulfulness of Boy George's voice. I really like his singing style.
