It seems really disrespectful to women and an horrible way to startan album.
Is it talking about mother earth itself?

A luscious bitch she is, true
But it's not nice to fool mother nature
The proud mother of god like all ho's
Is jealous of her own shadow
Who is this young Vic Tanny bitch
Who wish to be queen for a day?
Who would sacrifice the great grandsons and daughters of her jealous mother
By sucking their brain until their ability to think was amputated
By pimping their instincts
Until they were fat, horny and strung-out
In a neurotic attempt to be queen of the universe
Who is this bitch?

I thought p funk was supposed to be positive and in a party vibe?

IT'S LIKE GEORGE N' EM CAME DOWN OFF THEIR HIGH (FOR A MINUTE) AND REALIZED WHAT WAS HAPPENIN'...AMERICA WAS EATING ITS YOUNG BY WAY OF DRUGS AND BULLSH*T WARS....."THIRTYSOMETHING" YEARS LATER AIN'T A DAMN THANG CHANGED!!!!!

Trust me, I'm a bright bulb. U don't have to make ANYTHING clearer to me and I've been listening. I hear perfectly well.

Well, you're listening then but not comprehending. And you're imagining things on top of that. And what you seem to be imagining, is that I have some personal vendetta against you all of the sudden.

It seems to be the other way around though by the way you've been responding to all this. hmm

Oh shit,...that's right Valerie. Try to switch this around and place it all on me. Now I'm the one with a personal vendetta against u. ...Yeah, o.k. Just because I responded to something that YOU accused me off which u were waaaay off base about, THAT makes me have a personal vendetta against u? Yeah, o.k.

falloff Ok this is just getting comical now. lol

You were the one that agreed with me when I said I didn't think everyone always had to agree on everything, and yet you STILL keep coming back to my initial comment that I made, where I disagreed with you and you can't let it go. whofarted Well practice what you preach then and get off my case about it. lol

You keep saying I was "way off base". How many times do you have to berate me for that? falloff I already acknowledged that it must have been a misunderstanding then when I thought it was directed at me. It's just beating a dead horse now isn't it?

You sound WAY more than a little bit paranoid about it. It's totally not cool at all. confused Geez. lol

Ah but I'm off to bed now. It's late.

Yeah well, when defending oneself constitutes as being paronoid, then I'll be paronoid anyday. But I'm not even close to being paronoid. I haven't shown that anywhere in this. I'm just calling it on how it appeared to me, that's all. Never did see u acknowledge that u could have read me wrong. Probably because u were so busy harping on how elist I was being. Which isn't me either. But oh yeah, I forgot, that's sooo "uncool" of me. Yeah, but I can dig that too.

And anyway, you're certainly NOT the person to even comment on what's "totally not cool" being that you lost your cool as soon as I posted on this thread. So uh,...Chris has now left the set of "All My Children".

Just makes me wonder though why you said you didn't even read any of the posts on the thread before you commented, yet somehow ONLY read Pali's post which came after mine. Hmm. hmmm Why would you only read and reply to what he posted and not everything else? Just odd IMO. shrug

But whatever. There are just so many inconsistencies in your posts, but I guess you can't see that. Thats' just one of them.

I don't have to go back and read anything. I KNOW exactly what read and wrote. It's NOTHING inconsistent about what I've said. It's clear as a bell. It's just that u don't want to accept what I've said. It's nothing odd about me skipping over your posts when I first saw the thread. I do that all of the time. I'm sure others do it as well. I've always skimmed over posts. It's rare when I read every post by every person. I keyed in on pali's cuz he's someone who's posts I always read. There's certain people on here that I always read what they say. It's that simple. I truly didn't even notice yours untill after I had long posted. I've stated that several times. Everything I've said has been steady and on point and consistent. U just don't like what I've said, so u don't want to accept it. So therefore, it has to be something wrong or "odd" with it. Nothing odd at all.

Wow, I have to applaud you for FINALLY writing a rational sounding post and actually replying directly to what I've written, instead of skirting things and going back to bringing up my original "way off base" post like you have every other time. clapping Progress at last.

I don't agree though with everything you saying being "on point and consistent" though. shrug Repetitive yes, rational and coherent, not so much. confused

But as for me not liking what you've said, well that can go both ways of course. You obviously haven't liked anything I've said on here either. Don't be a hypocrite that's all. shrug

It's a drag when someone has to make up shit for a lack of not having anything valid to say. Everything I've posted has been rational and coherent. I see you've never had a problem in folllowing along with my posts in the past. It's nothing difficult about what I've said and I certainly have no problem in getting my point across. And the only reason it's been repetitive is because I've had to drill my one simple point home, over and over. Something that I stated once and shouldn't have had to repeat. I never said I had a problem with what u have posted so again, the hypocrite tag doesn't apply to me either. I've stayed on point with what went down and commented on WHY I felt it went down. U came at me on some shit that was wrong. I stated where I was coming from, not being aware of your initial post. I clarified that. I went on to say that u should have gave me the benifit of the doubt, like pali did, but instead, u didn't. I said that I was cool with that. Whatever. And at the point, I was through with it, cuz it wasn't nothing else to be said. I thought u should had done something that u didn't and went on to say the REASON why I felt u did what u did. And it's been all of this since. It's not serious to me, it wasn't serious to me from the get. I just innocently posted from a comment pali made. Didn't have jack to do with u. And now, look at all of this.

so George was making a play on that advertising phrase maybe? Like when he said "Have it your way" etc?

That would make sense. I was trying to relate the him with what Funkadelic said, and it wasn't quite working for me.

oh...regarding Vic Tanny, didn't they also use that phrase in some of those early 50's - 60's commercials, like:

"Who Is this man, with the Vic Tanny physique?"

... or something like that?

Yeah, exactly! He did the same thing with that ad, "Let Hertz Put You In The Driver's Seat" in the Parliament song "All Your Goodies Are Gone":

"Let Hurt Put You In The Loser's Seat...."

I never knew that. hmmm About that exact ad slogan I mean. I knew who Vic Tanny was, but not that the line was a play on an actual ad.

Yeah, that's a line and a half. George does a similar thing with wordplay on Parliament's "P-Funk (Wants To Get Fucked Up) when he's making fun of other bands that tried their hand at funk.

One of my fave songs from this album is the underrated "Miss Lucifer's Love".
