According to Ophrah, this guy is the "next big thing." He's an African-American, Jewish gospel singer. I don't know about Jewish/Gospel music, but he does have an amazing voice. This rendition of "Elijah Rock" is soul-stirring.

im not feeling it...the voice is great....its awesome...but for some reason i just don't "feel it".

He's been a mainstay in the newspapers here in New Jersey for years. He's always referred to as a Mahalia Jackson soundalike.

just recently i tried to get into the film Little Voices staring Jane Harmon. I totally couldn't get into it and ended up turning it off....i guess im just not one who is impressed by mimicking.

I really like his cover of Elijah Rock. I listened to some samples of his at Amazon, and wasn't impressed with the actual Jewish songs at all.
