What are your thoughts on this band?

Considering I'm a huge Chris Cornell fan and a decent-sized one of Rage Against The Machine as well, I thought they would be more than interesting to check out. I've heard the first five tracks of their debut and "Be Yourself" so far, and they sound great. Haven't heard nearly enough to form a solid opinion, of course, but I figured while I was in the process of digesting more of their stuff, I'd get some two cents.

I love Audioslave!!! If you already like Chris Cornell, then you will love Audioslave's albums. IMO their debut album is the best one they have done. The second is okay, i think they got a little off track with that one. But the current one out now is more along the lines of the first one, which is good. Check them out!!!

Audioslave will never release an album better than Soundgarden's 'Badmotorfinger' or RATM's debut-album.....

I don't know, I want to like them but like Abierman, there's only one RAGE and one Soundgarden, they sound like a washed down version of these bands
