rolling stones incident??? a few minutes ago i saw rolling stones peformance of satisfaction.
its maybe from 1981 you know the peformance with lots of baloons on stage. well what shocked me was the moment when keith richards took his guitar off and smacked in the head some guy with his guitar. can anybody tell me more about that incident??? | |

Yup. 1981 PPV concert at Hampton. Fan ran on stage, went to hug Keith. Keith decked him with his guitar. Why? Keith didn't know if the guy wasn't a nutjob. It was less than a year since Lennon had been shot. Nothing happened to Keith - legally. But when Joe Strummer did the same to a dickhead at a concert in Hamburg in 1980, he got arrested. Hey, does anyone know that story, exactly, about when the Stones were in their dressing room and someone knocked on the door and said they were the police, so they flushed all their drugs down the toilet? Then Sting and co. came walking into the room.
