i just bought my flight to austin and i'm going to south by southwest! my friend is putting together one of the showcases and another friend is flying in from philly thursday afternoon.

i figure since i have to pass on coachella and bowie is out of the question for any highline performance, i should use my spring break wisely! i think this is very wise!

I should go to SXSW one year just to see what all the hype is about plus it's not too far from me...

the asthmatic kitty label is having their own showcase the same night as my friend's showcase! talk about dilemmas. asthmatic kitty is host to a bunch of great acts (including my brightest diamond, shapes and sizes, half-handed cloud, and not to mention sufjan).

this could get tricky.

I think it kinda sucks that they have so many big names performing. It's gonna take away from the unsigned acts playing (unless they have it worked out so that they don't conflict.)
