From 1969-1974, nobody had more Top 10 hits, moved more records, or sold more concert tickets. During this period Three Dog Night was undoubtedly the most popular band in America: twenty-one consecutive Top 40 hits and twelve straight gold LPs. By late '75, they had sold nearly 50 million records.

Great band! One of the bands I grew up with. My parents had loads of Three Dog Night albums. cool

"The Show Must Go On" was always my favorite... I forget the name of the album, but it had the big band-aid across the front cover.

I like their hits and was going to ask for a single album recommendation that wasn't a greatest hits set. I'll take a listen to this one. Thanks! biggrin

Back in the day, I even copped this one...

...as one of my "gazillion records for 1 cent" choices from the Columbia House Record Club.

Columbia House had really flimsy product.
Instead of 200 gram vinyl, I believe their records were 1/200th gram vinyl. disbelief

It's nothing unique. Anyone that had a decent album could tell the difference.
Compared to some of my Dad's Jazz records and even my copy of...

...12 X 5 on the London label which was a high quality disc, you could instantly feel the difference.
(Btw, the vinyl weight comparisons were extremes for comedic purposes only.)

Columbia House product was pretty shoddy but you could get a ton of albums for next to no money. thumbs up!
