In both the US it was Barbra Sterisand "Woman In Love" (Oct 27, 1980). I did this before and never heard of that song. Since then, I've heard it and it's a good song considering it's Barbra and I'm not a fan. | |

more telling is my lifes theme song (#1 song when i turned 18) Part Time Lover Lulu's "To Sir With Love". That's a very well known song, mostly because of the memorable movie it came from. You should check it out. She was pretty popular in the UK here and there. Covered some Bowie tunes (I think he might have even produced some tracks for her). Also had a dance poppy hit "Independence". I think she is kind of considered a white soul singer. Good voice. | |
