Most of the artists have some connection to Motown or Philadelphia International Records.I can't wait to hear what George Clinton does with "Love Won't Let Me Wait" I can't imagine him singing a slow jam like that!

I`m excited about Sledge`s "Dancing in the street", she has an amazing voice. I was listening to the 8 minute long album version of "We are family" the other day, the last half of the song (which for some reason has been edited on every compilation) is brilliant.

Major Harris,a former member of the Delfonics.His version was released in 1975 and became a big hit.Luther Vandross covered this song in 1988.

Deniece Williams and Johnny Mathis also covered that song.I think you would probably like their version

There is no way you aren't familiar with Lamont Dozier. He was 1/3 of the songwriting team Holland/Dozier/Holland.
