That clip was crazy. Hers is one of the best, most distinct voices in pop and jazz. I posted a topic on her a few months back and it sank with a quickness, so I had to post before this one did the same.

i love her singing "que sera, sera" over and over and over in that hitchcock film.

Those movies were a lot of fun. The two of them had great chemistry. Rock is my favorite movie star from that era. Not my favorite actor by a long shot, but he was pure studio manufactured movie star. The Man Who Knew Too Much isn't my favorite Hitchcock film, but it's good.

One of my favorite Hammer horror movies is "Die! Die! My darling!", also starring Tallulah Bankhead.

Rebecca is based on the Daphne Du Maurier novel (she also wrote the short story on which The Birds is loosely based). In a nutshell, an introverted girl marries a rich widower with a shady past, and she becomes the object or scorn to his witchy maid. Laurence Olivier, Joan Fontaine and George Sanders. It was Hitchcock's first American film and his only to win the Oscar for best film.
