Yeah, it`s much better than the original nod

Aretha Franklin should have recorded more Bacharch/David songs, you`ve heard what she did with "I say a little prayer"...

Did you know Aretha Franklin was first offered some of Cole`s biggest hits, like "This will be" and "I`ve got love on my mind"?

After Cole made it big with "This will be", Franklin often included it in her concerts....

Aretha has a long history of rejecting songs that later became big hits for other artists.Didn't she also reject "Upside Down",which Diana Ross later recorded?

Funny, I never thought of that song as feel-good. It's so melancholy, always seemed to me to be about a relationship that couldn't last.

Well, maybe becoz of the music production lol

I always pay attention to the music b4 I pay attention to the lyrics anyway.

And I didn't know its a Dionne cover song? omfg She loves herself some Dionne, doesn't she?

The released version of "Say A Little Prayer" was fine by me untill I heard THIS version which is a TOT-AL knock-out:

http://www.youtube.com/wa...NglKTDZMKo

Does anybody know how to convert that per4mance into MP3? pray

I couldn't find this anywhere.

my favorite moment
of the YG&B album is
the opening

"to make you laugh
I'd be the fool for you
although others turn & stare
I really don't care"

or something like that
"be who you are and say what you feel
because those who mind don't matter
and those who matter don't mind."
