Morris sang on it but it was definately Prince doing the background vocals. Even back when it first came out and Prince acted like he had no part of it, I was saying...."You a damn lie!" lol

I guess so.

Great Album whatever.

I didn't include The Family but It almost fits, more of a Pop record but then its also Funky, So I should have included it. I guess thats what this thread is really about funky pop music not really hardcore funk such as Parliament, Mandrill etc

Also maybe the first two Egyptian Lover albums could have been included but there more Hip Hop albums maybe.

could someone define
"new wave" for me?

when I think "new wave"
I think DEVO & A Flock Of Seagulls
and the previous songs I mentioned
"be who you are and say what you feel
because those who mind don't matter
and those who matter don't mind."

I think so with at least "Bomb" but that might just be P-funk not new wave.

Remember "Movie Star"? Thats a total mockery of Mr.Day lol

Then again, the WHOLE Morris Day persona was Prince's creation. So we really don't know the dude like we think we do.
