JAMES BROWN still above ground

Why is the MF still NOT buried?

Is this the longest time a celeb has not been buried?

It's going to be even better than the dancing James Brown doll.

I saw a guy in the hospital morgue that had been there for 3 months, so those freezers can keep you pretty fresh looking.

Going through the grocery line checkout saw a GLOBE tabloid. Picture of JB's body/face in upper right corner.

Couldn't help but notice how much he looked like one of the Jacksons...seriously. Kinda like Jermaine and Jackie.

Maybe he could be displayed on a Victory 2 tour.

This is exactly what I thought when Pope John Paul II died. It seemed like he was on view forever. lol

at least good ole brown is being kept in a temperature controlled environment to keep him looking fresh. the pope was starting to look nasty towards the end of his death tour.

I agree. It is a disgrace to the man that they can't even seem to agree on where to bury him. Tho I do find it odd that JB hadn't made arrangements for his burial in recent years (unless these were related to his last partner and are now subject to dispute). Even his dead body ain't beyond litigation, it seems.

But, hey, that ain't the brotha lying in a chilled box in his back room. He's all around us, whenever we put a record/CD on, or think funky thoughts. He has returned to the ONE from whence he came. cool

Well this always happens when a celebrity of that stature dies and there is money involved and relatives, children and partners. Everyone from Elvis to Lennon to Selena to Bob Marley to Michael Hutchence to Freddie Mercury had some sort of litigation going on, whether it was family or ex-wives there was always something coming up, so James is no different and this was expected, especially with that wife, is it me or is she crying on cue? I have never seen anyone go from normal to crying so quick since Michael Landon on Little House on the Prairie.

Though he may look "fresh" its still a health hazard to have a body laying around, if it wasnt then we would all having grandma lying around in the living room still. Honestly though all jokes aside i have never understood this religious nonsense of burying bodies, between churches not paying taxes and all the property taken up by the dead when the living cant find a home, theres a little bit too much spent on these rituals.

Yes, but you gotta touch up that new growth. When that hair grows you have to keep it melted down.

I know James is somewhere pissed off looking down saying: "The hair. Don't forget the hair. Hit Me!"

For anyone coming near the body at this point, after a certain point it is not healthy, the same reason they tell you not to pick up road kill or any other dead thing.

Viking funerals (sigh) they're so pretty to watch, shoot a flaming arrow and get a show.
