I have no clue the producers or songwriters she uses, but thats probably all there is too it.
I know Steve Kipner had a hand in "physical". He is a very good songwriter. Point is, she probably just had good producers and songwriters etc... as her voice is only OK, and iam prety sure she has little input creatively. Its like me and Alyssa milano. She cant sing much, but is capable enough. But her producers are firm favs of mine, as is the era most importantly.

[Edited 1/20/07 8:56am] She performed in Long Island, NY last year. I tried to give my mom hints by saying really loudly in front of her "you know, I'd go see Olivia Newton John!", but she didn't bite.

I happen to think she has a wonderfully ethereal voice, certainly far and away above what I would consider to be just "OK" (especially if Alyssa Milano is an example of what you consider OK). John Farrar is the writer behind many of her memorable early 80's singles. However, it's quite untrue to indicate ONJ has had little creative input of her own. She's controlled the direction of most of her projects and has quite a number of credits under her belt. Arguably her best album, "Gaia" is made up entirely of her own compositions for example.

I just looked and Amazon has it listed for sale as an import. You should have luck from other sources, as well. They even have a listing for G & G through 3rd party vendors.
