Great...thanks....you provided a nice diversion for the middle of my workday!

The Michael Douglas Show - I haven't thought about that show in a really long time.....we are aging ourselves on that one, my dear friend!

I'm thinking I need to buy "Some Skunk Funk".... hmmm

cool

You know, in terms of a live album, I might lean towards...

...Heavy Metal Be-Bop

The album that won the Grammy is almost too Big Band and takes the edge off of the tunes imo.

Btw, The Mike Douglas Show is included in an essay I outlined a year ago (yet to have time for completion) based around music on TV.

I almost didn't recognize her when she came onstage to perform with George Benson & Al Jarreau last month in Vegas.

For the time, that was the show to watch for the up-and-coming acts.....I used to tune in....

Heavy Metal Be-Bop, eh? I'll check it out....thanks for the heads-up....I'm not really into big band....

Thanks and I will look forward to reading the essay including the Mike Douglas Show....as 'straight' as he was, he had a fairly progressive (for lack of a better word) show for that era....
