I`ve thought about making a thread about this song for so long, but i was sure people didn`t know the song. It`s one of my favorite songs from her Arista years... "I grew up and had my share of adventures boy, i had some fun"

I think the intersting thing about that list is take a look at the "age" of those perfromers at the time and compare them to todays artists in the top 40 and whats played and promoted. The youngest person on the chart from 1987 would be Samantha Fox, and i believe at the time she was 20-21 yrs old, everyone else on that chart was easily middle to late 20's and alot were 30's and up. 'Jimmy Lee' followed OR was preceeded by OR sandwiched between her take on 'Jumpin Jack Flash'(from the Whoopi Goldberg movie) and her duet with George Michael 'Knew You We're Waiting For Me' which were both such huge hits that they overshadowed this one. peace Every minute of last night is on my face today....

But yeah, I wasn't bumping this one. Test me on just about any other song that made the Top 40 in the 80s and I could give immediate feedback on it. All good things they say never last...
