When you are giving a "mix" to someone

And the person you are giving it to listens on an iPod, do you still scrunch it down to 80 mins on an audio cdr? Or do you burn them a data disc with as much stuff as you please?

It's for my cousin.

I could easily compile about 40 songs.

omg, trying to get a song off a cd that is copy controlled/content protected is a fucking NIGHTMARE!

Now I know what y'all were talking about in those threads like "HOW DO I BURN A SONG FROM THIS CD".

My last computer was so old that none of this software was detected or worked, and I was able to just burn it.

But now that I got this iMac, when I use the same program (Wavelab) to rip the disc - the song is all scrambled.

Nobody really wants the stuff that I listen to. Even if they say they do, they usually change their minds after hearing the music. confused

I always do a single audio CD... I feel like if I do more than that, it overwhelms them and they won't absorb any of it. If they seem genuinely interested, i'll send another audio CD, etc.

I always max the disk out to 80 minutes.. but thats a lot of music.. and I honestly think people never absorb that much new music whenever I soak'em down with a disk.. so a lot of good songs get overlooked by the quantity

Actually, this one was a little different because I put some bigger artists and hit singles on it, to carry her attention? (Well, I like the songs too).
